Man, that brings back memories.
When I was about 7 or 8, I would sing myself to sleep doing Campbell's canon: Gentle on My Mind, Galveston, ...Phoenix, ...Lineman..., Elusive Butterfly. This was before his Rhinestone Cowboy and Southern Nights era.
Sometimes, but not always, my Dad would tell me to be quiet and go to sleep.
I watched Campbell doing a promo tour a couple of years ago - the dude's still a heckuva guitar player...
Did Tanya leave scars on his knuckles?
