Meet the RQ-170 Sentinel. The Air Force has confirmed the existence of the "Beast of Kandahar". It has been seen flying in Afghanistan since 2007 and is a product of the infamous Lockheed Martin "Skunk Works".
More info at Aviation Week.
Remember, the Predator started out as an unmanned recon aircraft. It didn't take long to strap on weapons and take advantage of the platform's capabilities. Given the RQ-170's power, performance and stealth, is a fighter/attack version far away? Or is it already in the air?

Far out!
I'm convinced that UAVs are the future, for the reasons you described and then some.
This is a really cool post and all, but what I want to know is where the hell is Pizza Kat? Or should I ask, where the hell WAS Pizza Kat, and who scarfed over a half million dollars from the government......what nationality were they?
A commenter at Liberally Lean said Pizza Kat filed bankruptcy. I don't know if that is true or not.
What I do know is the address listed for Pizza Kat is the same address listed for CiCi's.
