Kellogg’s Pop-Tarts: $2.99. 500-pack of Q-Tips Cotton Swabs: $3.99. Gunfire on the streets of Azle: Priceless!

A simple shoplifting of life's basic necessities goes terribly wrong.
This is not the first time something like this has happened in Azle. In 1999 a liquor store owner ALLEGEDLY opened fire on a hispanic male as he dove into the back of a Chevy pickup with a Liter of Jose Cuervo and a suitcase of Coors Light.

I He had no further shoplifters.

I used to live in Springtown. Every time I went to Azle, I carried my firearm.

Yet again I am confirming The Accomplices' comment. Her statement is so true. I can't recall a time that we went and didn't pistol whip Azle just for some Long John Silver's LOL. That's horrible isn't it?

Not even a police officer would shoot at a vehicle with suspected shoplifters in it. He would be suspended.

This fuels anti-gun rights advocates and helps them justify gun control.

The bullet could very easily ricochet and injured someone, even could have struck the gas tank and killed everyone in the vicinity.

Fleeing the scene with a flat tire could have caused an accident and hurt or killed innocent people.

Shooting at people stealing food is not right.

I am a gun rights advocate, but this was not necessary or smart. This guy should not have a concealed handgun license.

but I could be wrong...
