I have always envied and admired surfers. I watched a documentary on Big Wave Surfers a couple nights ago called Riding Giants. It followed the sport from it's early days to present. That really lit a candle under my ever expanding ass.
Mark my words someday I WILL catch a big wave. It will probably be the cause of said bucket but by God, I AM going to do this!

According to Hubby and Son mzchief, surfing is "an ass whip." Both of my guys are fairly athletic and said it was the hardest thing they had ever done. While in Costa Rica they both spent every day for 2 months ATTEMPTING to learn to surf and both of them say they still suck at surfing. Hubby said the only reason he stuck with is was so he would not be shown up by his "punk ass kid."
I hope you give it a try with far better results than those of my two guys.
