We have a black President. The Arizona Cardinals are in the Super Bowl. To be completely honest, I never thought they would ever sell beer in Decatur either. The world didn't come to an end when that happened, so maybe there is hope on the horizon afterall.Personally, I'd like to see a more UNITED States of America. I'm really worn down by the hate and discontent coming from the extremists on all sides. You can't please all of the people all of the time. But cain't we just all get along for a while? It's 2009 fer Christ's sake!
I am proposing a political Cease Fire for the next 100 days. Everyone all pull together as a team and get this country back on track. Give him the ball on the 20 and 4 downs. Let's see what he can get done.

PS, been seeing the PSAs done by the stars and starlets of Hwood expressing their support of Obama trying to be patriotic. That's not patriotic- as a matter of fact besides the truth they are way less influential than they think making the messages ridiculous- what does it mean to throw your support behind a leader your already agree with on everything (especially 'in times like these'?
