Oshkosh B'gosh!

This is where you watch the Friday night concert from if you bring your own C-130J

My Shaggy friend Chad F went to the International Experimental Aircraft Association Annual Fly-in at Oshkosh, Wisconsin and came back with some incredible pics. One of the themes this year was the 100th anniversary of Coast Guard Aviation.

Of course there were a few other things to see besides Coastie coolness.

Awesome pics! My folks made the annual pilgrimage up there for about 15-20 years. One year, Dad almost tripped Henry John Deutschendorf, Jr., who was entering the EAA pavilion from the bright sunlight, and whose eyes had not yet adjusted.

Oldest son went up there with his other grandfather in 2007, but I've never been.

On the subject of nice nose art - I once walked into a hangar in Mineral Wells to see this lovely example: napoleon130.tripod.com/sitebuildercontent/sitebuilderfiles/sexysue.pdf
