It literally kicked my ass the last 3 days. Fortunately I spent my last day of 2008 vacation and took Sunday off to watch Daytona so I would have a 3 day weekend. I barely rose from bed for about 48 hours. Last night I got brave and tried some Chicken Noodle soup. That seemed to go pretty well, but I'm still far from 100%.
Baby steps...
I feel ya -- this morn I stopped at a place called Petersons, a small convy store. They had the best aroma coming from inside. HOT LINKS. So me had to have me two of them, all washed down with a Frosty's Root Beer. This at 7 a.m.. Lunch was the Patty Melt from Whataburger. Try to do some tilling with a cork up your butt. What we do to our selfs.
ReplyDeleteOh Gawd, don't get me started on Hot Links. They are the Devil's Fruit!
ReplyDeleteI fell in love with Hot Links when I was 15. I would fake ID my way into The Oasis in Sunset. They always had a crock pot full of Hot Links simmering in beer sitting on the bar.
After a couple hours of dancing and making repeated beer runs, those things sang a siren's song. A little brown mustard, some onions and VOILA! Greatness.
The best I've found are Earl Campbell's. They may in all reality taste like goat smegma (obscure reference credit: Barnicle), but with Earl's endorsement they are freakin' awesome!
Bless your heart Sweetness! Not sure I am into his diet or where you ate! - Take care! Get better!
ReplyDeleteAre you sure you didn't catch a virus. Kids have been sick with a stomache bug. Even Mr. Accomplice got it.
