Somebody once said they never posted videos on here. I have no idea who that was. (cough)

Stumbled upon a discussion at Flamewarriors about drummers. I don't think you will ever beat this matchup.

    Drum solos normally very tiresome. That was cool though. Also reminds me- want to try and locate The Sammie Davis Jr Show on dvd and see what it was all about. Loved that cat.

    Awesome! Even before I clicked 'play', I was thinking of Buddy Rich and Gene Krupa. I think Ed Shaughnessy could also have been included in the same class.

    If I remember correctly, Johnny Carson played drums some, and was mentored by Rich and Shaughnessy.

    Even cooler that the video featured Sammy Davis Jr.
