ReplyDeleteThe folks often run 15.25 hours (4 well choreographed fuel stops) from about 170 mi NNW of there - but in a 3/4 ton x-cab V-10 4x4, uh, your mpg digits get reversed.
Why do you think I took the V6 Mercedes instead of the 6.0 Powerstroke F350 4x4 crewcab? I would have been thrilled to get 13mpg at that pace. It drops into single digits over 75mph. I can just imagine what adding high alt and grade into the equation would do.
